June 20 Meeting
Sgt. Steve Dowlin, the station commander for the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Waynesburg, visited the Rotary Club and discussed several initiatives by the department, including the “move-over” operation to encourage drivers to change lanes while approaching stopped emergency vehicles on the interstate. Dowlin, who is a Greene County native, also cited various crime statistics and what state police are doing to protect the county.
