Rotary Scholarship Recipients Honored
The Rotary Club of Waynesburg honored two scholarship recipients during the group’s July 25 meeting. Amanda Frampton, right, and Desiree Paige Rose, center, are shown with club President Kelly Stepp during the meeting. Both read their essays about what Rotary’s slogan, “Service Above Self,” means to them.
Amanda recently graduated from West Greene High School and will attend West Virginia University to study music. Desiree just graduated from Waynesburg Central High School and plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to study nutrition before eventually attending dental school.
